On the other side of adversity

I went through the hardest time of my life trying to become a mother. Yet from the very start, it showed me so many things.

It showed me that I was stronger than I thought I was.

It showed me that I could love harder than I ever knew was possible.

It showed me that I had the power to create my reality.

It showed me that I had the permission I thought I needed to live the life I wanted to live.

It showed me that I could start where I am and use what I have.

Having her made me feel like a superhero albeit the tiredness (see the eyebags in the photo!), the new mum wobbles and my over reliance on Google for any and everything.

I now had this ache to stop holding back and to just be me.

To live by example and let my daughter see first hand that you can be, do and have whatever you choose and it was ok to want to design a life that fitted around my family whilst nurturing my passions.

And all of this from my Very Important Photo.

Me and my girl.
The one who challenged me to my core.
The one made me see it all so clearly.
The one who made it all so possible.

Do you have a Very Important Photo, one that tells a story in a captured moment?
