Using affirmations with kids
The last few weeks have been a real lesson in getting comfortable with feeling uncomfortable. I made a huge life decision (more on that to come in a few weeks) and I also embarked on a video challenge.
I have made a few videos over the last year but never 10 days consecutively.
Here is the most popular one, ranking up over 1,000 views on Facebook, largely down to my very cute co-host.
I even sang and danced on one of the videos. And you know what, it is never as bad as it seems. Ever.
The dictionary defintion of comfort zone is –
- a situation where one feels safe or at ease.
- a settled method of working that requires little effort and yields only barely acceptable results.
Like, really. Let that sit there for a while. If it feels good to you, then no judgement at all. I am 100% happy for you.
I am all about people finding their everyday joy and if this is yours then I am genuinely pleased for you.
If it isn’t, then this week I invite you to push yourself out of your comfort zone.
